Rhonelle Bruder – Conference Speaker
Anti-Human Trafficking Advocate and Public Speaker
Rhonelle Bruder is an award-winning international speaker, advocate, writer, and founder of the RISE Initiative, a grassroots project to empower vulnerable youth. Rhonelle has shared her story of survival and resilience with audiences around the world.
Rhonelle holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Victoria and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from New York City College of Technology. In addition to her advocacy, Rhonelle provides organizations with insights on issues facing women, youth, and those from diverse and racialized backgrounds, specifically regarding human trafficking, gender-based violence, and mental health. Most recently, contributing to a review of human trafficking in Canada for the United Nations and participating in a roundtable discussion on economic empowerment and entrepreneurship with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
