Liz Yeigh – Conference Speaker
Vice-President of Social & Community Responsibility, OLG
Liz Yeigh joined the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation as Vice-President of Social and Community Responsibility in July 2019, where she is responsible for OLG’s responsible gambling policy and program development, including the PlaySmart and voluntary self-exclusion programs, municipal and community relations and, corporate sponsorship.
Liz joined the OLG from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario where she was the Director of Strategic Engagement leading the organization’s engagement with external stakeholders across the liquor, gaming and horse racing lines of business. In that role she was also responsible for leading an internal cross-agency team that developed a strong modern regulatory framework to support the sale of cannabis in private retail storefronts.
Prior to joining the AGCO, Liz was the Director of Gaming Policy at the Ontario Ministry of Finance where she was responsible for overseeing the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, and leading provincial policy work on gambling and horseracing. Liz has held a variety of leadership positions within the Ontario government having also worked at the Ministries of Community and Social Services, Health and Long Term Care and Consumer and Business Services.
Based on her varied and progressive career path, Liz has a wealth of experience in the areas of policy development, project management, intergovernmental relations, stakeholder engagement, operations and, finance and administration.
Liz is a graduate of St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto with a B.A. in Economics and English.
